Title:  Vice President, Convention Housing Operations and Contracting

Position Summary
The Vice President of Convention Operations and Contracting is responsible for overall Housing Account Management and Domestic Hotel Contracting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; direct personnel management (internal & external), train,  coach and motivate direct reports as necessary, interdepartmental interface, event planning and team assignment, budgeting collaboration with senior management, client interaction and problem solving on an escalation basis as required,  oversee hotel contract management and sourcing in order  to drive event sourcing and procurement across MCI customers within US venues, executing the housing performance goals  and service delivery standards as set by the EVP of Operations ensuring a high quality, cost-effective department  to support both internal and external teams.  The VP also ensures that the organization is well positioned in a rapidly evolving and competitive industry.

Position Summary
The Sr. Project Manager is the primary contact for Clients and is accountable for ensuring that each meeting is managed and delivered in line with Client expectations and requirements.  The role of the Sr. Project Manager is pivotal in delivering the professionalism that is synonymous with MCI, crucial to the success factor of the meeting and champions the culture and values of MCI at all times during interaction with the Clients, colleagues, and 3rd party suppliers.

Title: Customer Service Representative
Supervisor(s):  Convention Housing and Registration
Department/Client Team: Call Center Supervisor/Manager
Location:  Plano, Texas
FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt

 

Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative is to provide above and beyond “hometown” Customer Service to each caller. Duties include answering inbound calls for registration and/or housing, making outbound calls for those who elect to register without booking housing, corresponding to attendees via chat, and performing data entry into our proprietary database.

Title: Account Manager
Supervisor(s):  Vice President, Convention Housing Operations
Department/Client Team: Housing
Location:  Plano, Texas
FLSA Status:  Exempt

 

Position Summary
This position serves as a member of the Account Management Team within the Convention Division.  The Account Manager will work in concert with the Account Executive to ensure all tasks and client requirements are implemented according to guidelines established. The primary role is to manage the hotel contracts and inventory needs of all assigned conferences, while providing operational support to the sales team in the absence of the Account Executive. Account teams are comprised of a two-person team, Account Manager and Account Executive.
