MCI USA has welcomed longtime event industry veteran Tol Kincaid to its Strategic Events, Meetings & Incentives (SEM&I) business unit based out of Plano, Texas. As Director of Events for MCI USA’s newly formed Investment & Management Partnerships group, Kincaid will work to provide MCI’s partners strategic event management expertise. The Investment & Management Partnerships group was created to manage and grow organizations’ events and allow their internal teams to focus on initiatives like membership engagement, content curation and industry advocacy.
Kincaid joined MCI after 13 years with Promotional Products Association International (PPAI), where he was Show Manager for two high-profile trade shows – including the large-scale, multimillion-dollar PPAI Expo, ranked #54 in Trade Show Executive’s ‘Gold 100’.
Prior to PPAI, Kincaid drove enterprise solution sales at Nextel Communications and served in both sales and show management roles at Hanley Wood Exhibitions and Miller Freeman.

Kincaid’s 20+ years in trade show management, operations, coordination, and strategic development will be an integral addition to the experienced SEM&I team leading this new business venture for MCI. He is adept at managing multiple events concurrently while consistently improving processes and exceeding expectations. With a proven history of success in building high-performance teams, Kincaid has a reputation for talent acquisition, building team cultures to which others gravitate, and identifying new talent through coaching and developing others. He is also known for diplomacy and a strong ability to liaise with association committees.
Kincaid is active in the International Association of Exposition & Events (IAEE) as a valued member of the DFW Chapter Board of Directors, conference speaker, and association member.
